TLC just debuted a new show called I am Shauna Rae. Despite the newness to the network, Shauna has already gotten a very loyal fanbase. After discussing her hesitations with college, fans are jumping in to offer advice and support.

Shauna Rae has a lot of hope for her future and what it will bring. She’s been sharing a lot about her life on her show very openly and candidly. This includes her future plans.
Currently, she expresses just how badly she wants to go to college. In the end, she says she would love to become a veterinarian.
The only issue she sees with this is her size. Of course, she has some reservations about going to college. She already faces so many adversities just living her normal life. She is likely concerned about making the change and going to college. Not to mention how people will treat her and if they will be rude.
According to Meeaw, fans are more than supportive of her dreams to go to college and think she should definitely give it a try. They say that in college, it is a much different crowd than in high school. Hopefully, they would be far more excepting of her differences.
“I don’t know what it feels like to be shauna but her disability is her height people would receive her a lot better in college than people with other disabilities…it isn’t high school it’s a different crowd I’m sure she’d be just fine. #IAmShaunaRae,” one person writes on Twitter.
Another thinks that she is fierce enough she can get through it without an issue.
“You’ll always be nervous no matter what. Think of it this way, you are able bodied, young & sassy & can certainly bite back if anyone gives you crap. Standing up for yourself & what you want is important. I think you’ll thrive in college girl! @TLC @iamshaunarae #IAmShaunaRae,” they write.
Someone else thinks that the show itself will likely provide her with some good opportunities.

Of course, actually going to school will be up to Shauna. But, it seems she has a lot of drive and passion so hopefully, she reaches all of her goals!
