90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days star Usman Umar a.k.a. Sojaboy has reportedly earned $52 million on Cameo thanks to his big fan Chrissy Teigen.

Ever since 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Usman Umar a.k.a. Sojaboy revealed his crazy Cameo earnings on Instagram and thanked Chrissy Teigen for it, fans have wondered what the popular model and TV personality has to do with it. As a returning cast member on Before The 90 Days season 5, Usman was seen with his ex-wife Lisa “Babygirl” Hamme on season 4. The overall age gap and jealousy issues between Lisa and Usman went on to create many problems in their 90 Day Fiancé relationship. Alas, they did get married in the finale after all. Meanwhile, the couple has many fans thanks to Chrissy showing support for them and even changing her Twitter bio to “personal assistant to Baby Girl Lisa.”

Even though Usman has now deleted his original screenshot showing his Cameo earnings from Instagram, fans were stunned to see him claiming to have earned millions on the app. At the time, Usman’s post showed his alleged Cameo income of approximately $52 million. As his followers shook their heads in disbelief, Usman wrote that he was thankful to Chrissy, TLC, Cameo, and his fans who’d made him so much richer in two years. Some called out Usman for not revealing that the amount was in Nigeria’s Naira currency. That would make Usman’s income about $125,000 in US dollars.

Overall, Usman didn’t confirm if the 90 Day Fiancé fans were right. A year ago, in January 2021, Sojaboy built his own lavish home in Sokoto with his Cameo earnings. The “Fire” singer had also mentioned Chrissy for her help back then. After 90 Day Fiancé superfan Chrissy edited her Twitter bio to show that she was a supporter of Usman and Lisa in April 2020, Usman gushed over such a famous personality being his admirer. As reported by In Touch, Usman recorded a now-deleted video for Chrissy in which he said, “This is beyond our expectations, [John Legend] and his wife [Chrissy Teigen] are huge FANS of our reality tv show [90 Day Fiancé], and this what [Chrissy] wrote about my #BGL. Thank you, Madam, we are honored.” Soon enough, an excited Chrissy posted a tweet tagging writer and producer Mason Steinberg which said, “petition to get 90 Day Sojaboy on cameo to call my friend @AlUCanEatShrimp ‘babyboy mason’ – will pay 100 dollars.

Cameo reached out to Usman and asked him to create an account thanks to avid 90 Day Fiancé viewer Chrissy’s tweet, which gained thousands of likes. The requests started flooding in and also included one from Chrissy that she later shared on her page. The video had Usman singing the lyrics to his “I Love You” song, which was specially written for his baby love, Lisa. In this version, though, Usman also called Chrissy his “Baby Girl” in it. In turn, Usman’s then-wife Lisa was allegedly offended by her man saying another woman as his “Baby Girl.” With that said, Lisa also created a different Cameo video requested by Chrissy. The model also shared Lisa’s Cameo video to her Twitter, showing Lisa famously warning Chrissy with, “I hear you’ve been doing a lot of talking that you’re claiming to be Baby Girl Chrissy? Not gonna work. There’s only one Baby Girl and that’s me, Baby Girl Lisa,” Moreover, Chrissy ended up getting “fired” from her fake position as Lisa’s personal assistant.

All things considered, this explains how Chrissy’s tweet about Usman basically kickstarted his Cameo journey and has made him “rich.” It’s a different story altogether that Usman couldn’t buy himself a MacBook Pro and a PlayStation 5 and had to rely on his “potential girlfriend” Kim Menzies to gift them to him on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days despite how much wealth he has flaunted in the past. A former Cameo employee recently posted that Sojaboy’s earnings on the platform are exaggerated. The anonymous person guessed that SojaBoy made “more like $20,000” instead. But then again, this is a lot of money that Usman wouldn’t have earned had it not been for Chrissy’s tweet.
