Former 90 Day Fiancé star Anfisa Arkhipchenko knows that she is the original cast member who received the “gold digger” label, and she’s refusing to share it with any other newcomers who might challenge her. Russian woman Anfisa created quite an identity for herself on reality TV by choosing money over the man she had come to the US to marry, Jorge Nava. There were many instances where Anfisa acted bratty, selfish, and very angry in the relationship, even raising her hand on Jorge in their relationship.
Owing to this, Anfisa has a section of 90 Day Fiancé viewers who still dislike her to this day. Alas, Anfisa also has an equal number of admirers who are proud of the woman she is today. In the seasons that followed since Anfisa’s TV debut, many women have been accused of being “gold diggers.” The list includes Larissa Lima, Juliana Custodio, Natalie Mordovtseva, and more recently, also Jasmine Panama from 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Certified personal trainer Anfisa recently fought back critics who still think she used Jorge for his money until he got arrested. “No successful attractive confident person ever called me that,” Anfisa told an Instagram user during a Q&A.
In contrast, Anfisa recently tackled these accusations in a tongue-in-cheek way on her TikTok page. Anfisa’s TikTok profile is called @missanfisa_, where she has over 85,900 followers on it. Her fans were surprised when Anfisa shared a video titled, “When another girl acts like a gold digger on 90 Day Fiancé.” Using audio by Tiky Perez, Anfisa tells these other cast members, “Okay, I challenge you.” Anfisa says she wants to see “who does it better” than her. The video has since been re-posted by @90day_fiance_gossip on Instagram where the blogger wrote, “Anfisa! I laughed soo hard. She’s hilarious!”
On her own TikTok post, San Diego resident Anfisa already got the idea for her next video from a follower. Someone commented, “The feminine urge to scream ‘GIMME MY RED MAKEUP BAG.’” Anfisa replied, “Thanks for the idea for my next TikTok.” Someone else rushed to praise Anfisa while reminding her critics that she is “literally a UCI graduate. Educated and pretty.” Anfisa went on to correct them by writing that she’s not a graduate yet “but will be this year.” A different fan added that the feel like 90 Day Fiancé painted Anfisa as a villain when she really wasn’t.
Jorge was the real villain of the story according to the people in Anfisa’s comments. These fans think that she shouldn’t be judged given that the California man had lied to get to the US. The “vile things” that Jorge said about Anfisa’s character aren’t forgotten by fans who are happy to see her still living life unapologetically. TikTok appears to be where Anfisa shows her fun side in comparison to Instagram, which mostly focuses on her workout videos and brand sponsorships. One might need to keep a close eye on Anfisa’s TikTok to truly believe that she played it up for the 90 Day Fiancé cameras as one of the OG cast members.
