Unknown details about Gino’s divorce from his ex-wife Denise have surfaced. After being divorced for eight years, the 90 Day Fiancé star is moving on.
New 90 Day Fiancé star Gino Palazzolo was previously married to a woman named Denise, and the two got divorced eight years ago. After splitting from his first wife, the automotive engineer fell for Jasmine Pineda. The couple is now appearing on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5. Although the duo seems very much in love, they want different things from their relationship. While Gino intends to get married and have babies, Jasmine is hiding the fact she is on birth control.
In the last few episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, viewers learned that Gino was married to a Brazilian woman for seven years. Jasmine is already jealous of her American boyfriend’s previous marriage, and she doesn’t like that he has a past. She wants to get rid of every item in Gino’s house that may remind her of his ex-wife. In a recent episode, she unveiled her jealous side and called Gino’s ex “stupid” for no reason. However, Gino didn’t let his beautiful young girlfriend insult his former wife. He corrected Jasmine, even knowing she might get angry.
It is now even more important to learn more about Gino’s past with his ex-wife. Gino worked in Brazil for six months, and that’s when he first met Denise. The two fell in love and got married without wasting much time. The Michigan native told TLC cameras, “We met around that time and we knew we were in love and we wanted to be together. And so, I brought her to the United States.” Gino applied for a K-1 visa to help Denise come to his country, and the couple began their happy married life. Sadly, after being together for about seven years, Gino filed for divorce from his first wife on December 7, 2012. In Touch reports the couple’s divorce was finalized on June 7, 2013.
Gino shared, “Going through a divorce was very difficult and I did lose some hope that, you know, hey, am I ever gonna find that right person to start a family?” He finally found his soul mate in Jasmine. However, the 34-year-old reality star can’t stand Gino’s ex-wife. During a recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Jasmine went sightseeing and souvenir shopping with her beau. She told Gino that he should decorate his house with things that remind them of her country and not his ex-wife. Jasmine revealed that during a confessional, “His house screams her, every corner.”
After watching Jasmine and Gino’s love story on the show, many viewers think they have become one of the quintessential couples of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. They have an age gap of 17 years and also struggle with the usual trust and control issues.
