80 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days fans believe that Varya Malina isn’t as committed to Geoffrey Paschel as she seems. Is she just faking her devotion?
Fans of 90 Day Fiancé were shocked when Varya Malina revealed that she was still with Geoffrey Paschel when he went to prison, and some fans think that the Russian woman has ulterior motives. Varya and Geoffrey starred in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4, which ended in a dramatic love triangle involving another love interest of Geoffrey’s. He was recently found guilty of kidnapping and domestic assault against one of his former partners and went to prison in October. He’s expected to be sentenced to between 12 and 20 years in February of 2022, without the possibility of parole.
Varya has been keeping herself busy by posting reels on Instagram every day. She shares many old videos of herself and Geoffrey traveling and hanging out, which were filmed before he was found guilty. The reality star also records and posts many videos of herself dancing, being silly, and doing chores around Geoffrey’s house. She is keeping busy while he’s behind bars. As well, Varya shared that she’s joining the National Guard, which surprised lots of viewers.
While some fans think that Varya is simply trying to distract herself while her partner is locked up, others are starting to think that she is using the situation to gain clout. Varya recently shocked fans by posting a photo of Geoffrey in jail during one of their video visits, which was reposted by the 90 Day Fiancé fan account, truecrime_jankie. In a subsequent post, the caption accused Varya of posting content about Geoffrey because she’s looking for attention as well as “likes and followers.” People in the comment section agreed. The controversial reality star also recently went live on Instagram asking viewers to send her money (and add money to Geoffrey’s prison commissary). All of this irritated critics.
However, most of the comments on Varya’s personal Instagram account are surprisingly supportive of her and her relationship with Geoffrey. Lots of fans commend Varya for staying with the Tennessee man while he is in jail. However, even on her own account, Varya gets comments from people who think she’s clout chasing. These people don’t think she’ll stick out if he stays locked up for a long time. One 90 Day Fiancé viewer slammed Varya for using Geoffrey’s conviction to make money. “Please stop abusing the victims more and praising the convicted felon,” the viewer said, adding, “You are really the worst.” Another fan left a comment asking Varya if she will be watching Geoffrey’s dogs “for years” while he’s in jail, to which the reality star replied, “none of your business.”
Despite what many 90 Day Fiancé viewers think, there is a chance that Varya truly loves Geoffrey despite the fact that he’s in prison for domestic assault. Some of her replies to fans’ Instagram comments make it seem like Varya doesn’t believe that he is guilty, although the evidence shows otherwise. Considering that the end of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4 showed Varya leaving Russia to surprise Geoffrey in America, in the hopes of trying to make their relationship work, she may have trouble letting go. However, a lot of time alone may break her bond with him for good.
