1000-lb Sisters stars Amy Slaton and Tammy Slaton have both slimmed down, thanks to weight loss surgery and hard work. What do they weigh?

1000-lb Sisters’ Tammy Slaton, 36, along with her sibling Amy Slaton, 35, have both lost a considerable amount of weight, and it’s time to talk about how much they probably weigh right now. At the start of the TLC docuseries, Tammy and Amy had both been struggling with their weight for years. Though they’d tried to slim down on their own, it was becoming clear that medical intervention would be necessary for the sisters, and helpful too. They consulted an Atlanta-based bariatric surgeon, who tried to help them both with their difficult joint endeavor.

While Amy had her weight loss surgery by the end of 1000-lb Sisters season 1, Tammy had a more difficult road ahead of her. With more weight to lose, and her health at higher risk, Tammy had a harder time embracing healthier eating habits, and facing her issues head on. While Tammy did try to deal with her problems, it took a medical emergency (and a near-death experience) to truly get her on track with a healthier lifestyle. After working with doctors in a weight loss rehab facility, Tammy finally had her weight loss surgery during 1000-lb Sisters season 4. She is looking better than ever.

How Much Does Amy Slaton Weigh Today?

Lately, Amy looks incredible in her Instagram photos. Her weight loss journey began during 1000-lb Sisters season 1, when she weighed 406 pounds, according to In Touch Weekly. After her gastric bypass surgery in 2019, Amy lost roughly 130 pounds. She weighed about 275 pounds prior to her first pregnancy, but shortly after, wound up getting pregnant a second time. After her second pregnancy, Amy was worried about meeting with her doctor, but to her surprise, she weighed about 288 pounds. Through both pregnancies, she’d only gained a little over ten pounds. Now, it’s estimated that Amy is down to about 225 pounds, putting her close to her initial goal.

How Much Does Tammy Slaton Weigh Today?

Tammy had a much longer road to success than Amy initially did. She had to deal with larger health issues, and initially had more weight to lose. According to Page Six, during 1000-lb Sisters season 1, Tammy weighed over 700 pounds. She needed to lose weight (and do so quickly), but had trouble following her doctor’s diet and exercise plan. There were times when Tammy gained weight at check-ins, which discouraged the TLC star. After her medical emergency, and throughout her first few weeks in rehab, Tammy lost 100 pounds easily, but soon began to struggle again.

After over a year in rehab, Tammy finally reached her goal weight. She weighed in at 534 pounds, which was a bit under her 540 pound target, and was able to get approved for weight loss surgery. Following her operation, Tammy is looking incredible in the shots she’s posted to her Instagram account. Now that she’s back home in Kentucky, she seems to have more mobility, and she’s shedding weight quickly. It is estimated that Tammy is currently down to 375 pounds, as fans learned that she dipped below 400 pounds after her February 2023 weight loss surgery.

With Tammy and Amy doing their best to keep their health at the forefront, their determination has proven to be crucial in recent months. Amy is dealing with an impending divorce, and becoming a single mother. While Tammy chose to separate from him, Caleb Willingham’s death will certainly prove difficult for the reality TV star. Things have not been easy for the sisters. With 1000-lb Sisters season 5 potentially already filming (though that’s yet to be confirmed), viewers may see more of the Slaton sisters soon.
