Michael & Amy Halterman Divorce Hearing Called Off: Canceled?
Per an exclusive report from The Sun, Amy Slaton and Michael Halterman were scheduled to be in court for a divorce hearing a few days ago (on June 1st). The outlet confirmed this divorce hearing was called off and canceled. Considering how nasty this divorce is rumored to be as the TLC personalities feud for their children, fans wonder why the hearing was called off. Are they trying to make things worse or did it just get rescheduled?
Speaking to a court clerk in the state of Kentucky, The Sun can confirm Amy and Michael Halterman made the decision to cancel their divorce hearing. This, however, doesn’t mean the divorce isn’t still happening. The estranged husband and wife, however, have decided they want to work out the details out of court. So, Amy and Michael plan to meet in a more private setting with their lawyers to work out both the divorce details and the custody of their children.

As fans know, things have been pretty ugly between the TLC stars for the past few months. Michael Halterman first filed for divorce in March. Amy, however, did file domestic violence claims against Michael a month prior to his filing for divorce. The domestic divorce claims against Michael, however, have since been dropped.
It has also been reported that all of Amy’s siblings are standing beside her during this difficult time as they just want her to be happy and do what’s best for her boys. It, however, isn’t lost on fans that Tammy is reportedly divorcing Caleb and Amanda has previously divorced Michael’s brother.
