The star returned home from rehab after 14 months, and everyone is in awe of her. She qualified for her bariatric surgery and lost as much as 300 Lbs! So, in order to celebrate this and her homecoming, Tammy threw a party for her family.
That’s when viewers got to meet Amy and Tammy’s mother, Darlene Rednour. She didn’t look too thrilled to have joined them for the latter’s special moment. It really upset the fans. They began to slam the mother for not appreciating their daughter’s hard work and also for being the reason for giving them trauma that they got into food addiction.

Well, there is not much information about Darlene either. She appeared awfully quiet during her return in 1000 Lb Sisters Season 5. Her Facebook says that she is a “stay at home” mom and also a “grandmother” to 10 beautiful grandkids. The guest cast member’s bio also said that she “loves to cook” and also cares for her two dogs and a cat.
Apart from this, Darlene’s social media has also revealed that she got married in 2013. She was with a man by the name of Frank Rednour. Alas, he passed away in 2021, but the couple still have their photographs on the former’s Facebook handle.

Apart from returning to screens again with 1000 Lb Sisters, they also became cover girls for People magazine. During their interview, they opened up about their troublesome childhood. Tammy mentioned how she was 9 Lbs at birth and everyone in their family was “big.”
Amy and Tammy were 9-10 years old and had to start looking after themselves. Their mother was working multiple jobs to support her family. Due to this, she wasn’t there to parent the kids. So, in order to get quick and easy meals, the siblings relied on the microwave a lot and couldn’t indulge in healthy meals. That’s when their health began to deteriorate.
