Tammy Slaton’s relationship with her siblings has always been a little volatile. But now, it could even cost the reality star her home.
According to new reports, Tammy can no longer live with her older sister, Amanda Halterman. After continuously escalating fights between the women, Tammy had to leave and sought housing elsewhere.
So where exactly did the 1000-Lb Sisters star end up? See what TV Shows Ace learned.
Tammy Slaton and Amanda Halterman can’t live together any longer
Last season on 1000-Lb Sisters, fans watched Tammy Slaton move into a rehab facility while she tried to get her food addiction under control. Sadly, her home was burglarized. She didn’t have many options once she finished her stay in rehab.

Fortunately, family is incredibly important to the 1000-Lb Sisters cast. Amanda reportedly took Tammy in, but that’s all come to an end. According to insiders, the sisters just couldn’t stop fighting each other.
“[Tammy] had to move in with her brother Chris because she lost her house,” an insider allegedly shared with The Sun. “She was renting it from her sister, Amanda… and they just do not get along at all.”
This definitely tracks, especially after reports that came out earlier in the year. TLC camera crews allegedly had to stop recording because of Tammy and Amanda’s antics.
The Sun goes on to report that Tammy and Amanda have had “multiple intense arguments over recent months” and even got into it at Caleb Willingham’s funeral.
Chris Combs also gets aggravated with Tammy’s outbursts and behavior. But out of all the siblings, most fans agree that he’s the most level-headed. Hopefully, he and his wife Brittany will be able to put up with Tammy while she figures out her housing situation.
Does TLC fake fights for views?
1000-Lb Sisters fans wouldn’t be at all surprised to learn that Tammy and Amanda couldn’t stop arguing with each other. However, over the past year, some viewers have wondered whether or not TLC fabricates fights for the sake of attracting attention.
On Reddit, viewers discussed that very idea. TLC said their film crews stopped recording the fight for the safety of everyone involved. However, not everyone bought that story. A filmed fight would bring in lots of viewers, so several doubted the fight even happened in the first place.
Is it possible that Tammy’s living situation is just a fabricated rumor for the sake of views? Or did the situation really happen? Either way, share what you think in the comments.
