Amy Slaton often talks about with her 1000-Lb Sisters fans how much she wanted to be a mom. Shortly after she received weight loss surgery, Michael Halterman and Amy Slaton announced they were expecting. While Dr. Charles Procter wasn’t happy about the timing, but she is thrilled.

There were a lot of complications Amy had while pregnant with her first son, Gage Halterman. However, she had a normal delivery via C-section and expressed how thrilled she was to be a mom.

A little while later, Amy began talking about how she wanted to have another baby. Yet, she began to feel more anxious about balancing the responsibilities of two children while on the way to deliver baby #2.

While Michael Halterman drove to the hospital for her induction, the 1000-Lb Sisters celebrity talked about how she would sleep again. Then, she said she was nervous about how she would find the energy to chase after a baby and a toddler.

Things Take a Turn for the Worst for TLC Star

Amy Slaton from 1000-Lb Sisters had another successful delivery with her second son, Glenn Halterman. However, other complications arose for Amy. Seven hours after having her son, Michael Halterman tested positive for COVID-19 and was kicked out of the hospital.

While she’s upset about her family’s comments about being late to the event, she’s more upset because she struggles. The newly postpartum mom must care for Gage and Glenn as she struggles to get around after her operation.

Plus, she talked about how hot she felt and how exhaustion took over her body. It looks like this sent her completely over the edge, and she sobbed while Michael neglected to get up and help.
