Darcey Silva and Stacey Silva are being criticized by 90 Day Fiancé fans for their shocking Photoshop fail in a modeling photo for their fashion brand House of Eleven. Connecticut women Darcey and Stacey became household names after appearing in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 1. While the season was about Darcey’s relationship with Jesse Meester, the twins’ bond was interesting in many ways. Fans watched as Darcey and Stacey struggled with age and men, and while the latter couldn’t be fixed, they got plastic surgery done to lose weight and look “snatched” in their “twinsformation” process.
The 47-year-old moms have since appeared in three more seasons of their own spin-off called Darcey & Stacey, which chronicles their life and times with current partners Georgi Rusev and Florian Sukaj. Stacey’s married life has been much more stable compared to Darcey’s despite Florian’s cheating scandal, but what unites them is their obsession with constantly changing their bodies and faces. A controversial trip Darcey and Stacey took to Turkey to get a full-body makeover was documented in their last season. The twins got rhinoplasty, breast implants, a Brazilian butt lift, a lip lift and the Hollywood Smile veneer package but, oddly enough, seem to hide behind Photoshop and filters when sharing their pictures on Instagram.
Fans know that Darcey and Stacey make their living by running a fashion brand called House Of Eleven, which has also been featured on 90 Day Fiancé. The sisters make sure to promote their label constantly on Instagram, sometimes by sharing product images and, on other occasions, by wearing the clothes from HOF11 themselves. In her latest Instagram Stories, Darcey posted a photo of herself and Stacey dressed in matching fuchsia pink bodysuits (via Reddit user femme_fatale2022.) The photo showed Darcey and Stacey with overwhelmingly altered faces and figures as they appeared to have bigger eyes, a thinner faces, pointy chins, tiny noses and spotless skin.
It seemed like reality TV stars Darcey and Stacey’s bodies were also made to look leaner, apart from them looking like animated characters, as the OP noted, from a Sims game. Fans admitted they were finding it difficult to even tell Darcey and Stacey apart, when at the same time they were looking not even a little like the women who appear on the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off. “It looks like an illustration of bratz dolls,” wrote toooshay. Some asked if, by this point, Darcey and Stacey even know what they look like. And someone noted how sad it was to see two beautiful ladies making a mockery out of themselves with these edited photos.
Questions have been raised about whether Darcey and Stacey could be trolling fans by repeatedly sharing these photos created using face-altering software or whether they are never satisfied with how they look despite the multiple surgeries. Every time either of the sisters shares a new Instagram post, they receive comments mocking the use of a heavy filter, or there are fans who remind them how beautiful they looked when they started off on 90 Day Fiancé. However, neither Darcey nor Stacey have ever acknowledged these comments about their love of filters, which is surely suspicious. It’s not like they are afraid of revealing what they look like without the editing.
