Darcey Silva’s engagement to Georgi Rusev is on again on the latest episode of their TLC show. The two had previously called it off.
But, after a trip to Miami, the TLC couple is willing to give their love another shot. And it seems like they already have plans for the big day.
Darcey approached her sister, Stacey Silva, about having a twin wedding. However, Stacey wasn’t set on the idea. She didn’t want her twin sister to feel rushed into getting married.
She also didn’t know if she wanted to share her and Florian Sukaj’s special day with another couple. But, in the end, Stacey goes ahead with planning a joined wedding on Darcey & Stacey.
You may recall Florian married Stacey alone at their condo during COVID lockdown. Now, they want something bigger with family. But, the twins’ father, Mike Silva, is against the whole idea.
He feels like she isn’t ready to commit to Georgi Rusev. Mike thinks that she is making a mistake rushing into a marriage. He even said that if the wedding happens, he won’t go.
TLC Star Recalls Wedding Wardrobe Disaster
Darcey Silva walked down the aisle before. Her first marriage was with Frank Bollok, a man she met in New York. They share two daughters, Aniko Bollok and Aspen Bollok.
After eight years, they divorced. And it seems like the Darcey & Stacey reality star plans to do things differently the second time around with Georgi.
The TLC celeb didn’t get the chance to write her own vows for her first wedding. She said it was a church wedding and had a bishop marry her and her ex-husband. But, this time, she hopes that she and Georgi Rusev can write their own vows.
Darcey’s first wedding was “very grand” and over the top. It took place at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. They had hundreds of guests, including family and friends.
And Stacey Silva was her sister’s bridesmaid. The Darcey & Stacey sister explained that ceremony was “typical Darcey style.” And she had a wardrobe malfunction. Her veil fell right off her head after she walked down the aisle.
She tried to get Stacey’s attention, but she didn’t want to move too much. Stacey was also afraid to move. So, Darcey decided to pick it up herself and slapped it back on her head.

During her first appearance on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, she took a flight to meet her then-boyfriend, Jesse Meester in Amsterdam. Then, her shoe got stuck in the escalator when she got to the airport. But she was eventually able to get it out.
The TLC alum felt that it was a sign of some sort. And, knowing that she and Jesse had a terrible split, it looks like it was. Could her veil malfunction had also been a sign? According to their father, this is a trainwreck ready to happen. Do you agree?
