Tammy Slaton Gets Visit from Nephew – 1000-lb Sisters Family Stops by Rehab
If you’re out of the loop, Tammy Slaton is no longer in Dixon, Kentucky. Instead, she’s at a rehabilitation facility that specializes in high-risk bariatric services.
Tammy’s been there since December. So, it’s going on fourth months. As the last season ended, she pledged to go for six months. And she asked brother Chris Combs to drop her at the facility.
That was when she pledged this was the last time anyone would see Tammy as this weight and said. “bye b*tches”. But on the way, as seen on the season 3 finale of 1000-lb Sisters, things turned dire.
Tammy Slaton’s oxygen level dipped. The rehab center sent her to the ER. She wound up with a hospital stay and a tracheostomy. And, she’s had a trach tube for oxygen since right after filming ended.
Now and then, we hear that her family visited. And the latest visit happened today on Sunday, March 13. Tammy’s thrilled to see her nephew Gage Halterman and have time with those she loves.
Baby Gage Halterman Steals his Aunt’s “Sodie” at Rehab
In a recent TikTok, Tammy Slaton showed off nephew Gage on her lap. He holds her Diet Coke in his hand, trying to steal a slurp. She joked, “Look who took my pop from me” and made a little face laughing.
Then, she tried to get Gage Halterman to say “hi” to the cameras, but he was focused on the can in his hand. Unseen was Amy Slaton who was likely there since her son was on her 1000-lb Sisters sibling’s lap.
However, it could be that Amy’s keeping her body out of sight for a reason. The sisters are pretty careful about keeping things hidden due to their NDA and filming for the next season.
Right now, Amy should be about 21 weeks pregnant — halfway through her pregnancy with baby #2. She’s planning to have the baby on July 5 as a planned C-section so she can get her tubes tied at the same time.
So, Amy may be avoiding full-length shots since they’re filming now. That way, TLC can reveal her pregnancy status in season 4 of their TLC show.
Tammy Needed to See Family — and 1000-lb Sisters Sibling Delivered
A while back, Chris reported that Tammy Slaton’s dropped 115 pounds in rehab. And fans are dying to know if she’s kept it off and progressed from there. Her face looks slimmer and she seems to be on track.
1000-lb Sisters‘ Tammy remaining in rehab is certainly a step in the right direction. You may recall towards the end of the last season, she was vaping and drinking heavily. And Tammy Slaton later confessed to marijuana use as well.
Now, she looks to be keeping off the weight she lost — and hopefully shedding more. Of her visit from Amy Slaton and baby Gage, Tammy said it was “what I needed”.
Tammy added that she’s “truly blessed” to have them. And she said she “wouldn’t trade them” for anything in the world. We’ll update you on Tammy Slaton’s progress as she continues her weight loss journey.
