Surveillance footage shows 90 Day Fiancé’s Karine Staehle physically abusing her husband, Paul. Their son is also present in the shocking video.
A surveillance camera video has surfaced online in which former 90 Day Fiancé star Karine Staehle appears to be physically abusing her husband, Paul Staehle. Some TLC viewers might not find this video shocking as Paul and Karine are well known for their scandalous relationship. When Karine was pregnant with Paul’s first child, he accused her of cheating on him and demanded a paternity test. One of Karine’s alleged boyfriends also accused her of consuming alcohol while breastfeeding her first son, Pierre Staehle. Even the 90 Day Fiancé producers felt that Paul and Karine were problematic, and they needed to resolve their marital issues off-camera. Therefore, the couple was uninvited from the reunion special.
Despite being in a rocky marriage, the duo announced that they were expecting their second son. Soon after that, Karine called the cops on Paul and claimed that he physically and sexually assaulted her. She was granted a restraining order against her husband in August 2020. But the couple reconciled just a few months later and started living together in Brazil. Things took a drastic turn when Karine and Paul returned to the United States. The Brazilian beauty again called the cops on Paul and allegedly filed for divorce.
While many 90 Day Fiancé viewers think that Paul is an irresponsible and possibly violent husband, a new video of Karine assaulting him has surfaced on Reddit. A fan reshared the surveillance camera video on Reddit (via @yardsalefairy) with the title, “What’s going on in [Paul] and Karine’s household?” In the 10-second video, fans can see Paul sitting on the couch, putting on his shoes. Karine grabs and pulls Paul’s hair and pushes him down on the couch. The video is even more shocking because the couple’s first son is standing where the assault occurs. 90 Day Fiancé viewers always thought that Paul and Karine’s marriage was troublesome, but nobody really expected it to involve physical violence. A user said, “If I were him, I’d be filing for a divorce right this second.” Another chimed in, “Ummm I am not a Paul supporter, but in all seriousness, is he OK?” Someone else wrote, “That’s not the first time she’s done that, by the looks of it, very accomplished takedown.” Other 90 Day Fiancé fans couldn’t resist talking about how messy Karine and Paul’s house looked in the video.
Karine previously made false assault claims against Paul and stopped him from seeing his sons. It now seems like the Kentucky resident was right that Karine needs help because her behavior isn’t normal. But one can’t just take this video at its face. Since this couple likes to create controversies, this footage could also be staged.
