Jenny receives Sumit’s parent’s acceptance into their family

The family astrologer Khalid told Sumit’s mother, Sadhna, she must accept Jenny. He said, “If you meddle into their relationship, then they’ll view you as the enemy.” Khalid says, “Let him go … If they are going to separate, you don’t be the reason. If it’s meant to be, it will be.” Sadhna accepts the astrologer’s words. She says, “If it’s written in the stars, what can I do about it.”

Sumit’s mother, Sadhna, sits down with Jenny one-on-one ahead of her return to her house. She tells Jenny, “The astrologer made me understand a lot of things.” Sadhna says, “I want to say that you are a very good-natured person.” She tells Jenny she wants to “maintain the love” between them for Sumit. While she didn’t give her blessing for marriage, Sadhna accepting Jenny is a huge start.

Sumit is still unsure of when he wants to marry Jenny

It’s the day after Sumit’s parents gave Jenny their acceptance. So Jenny tells Sumit, “So now, we can marry.” Sumit says, “Whenever you want to get married, whenever stars are want us to get married.” Jenny explains that she feels like she’s waited long enough and wants to get married “right away.”

Jenny tells him, “Now we’ve got the green light. There’s no reason for us to keep waiting.” Sumit tells Jenny that he wants to go to the astrologer to “ask the best date for us to get married.” Jenny asks Sumit if the astrologer will give them the go-ahead to get married “tomorrow” if he is ready. Sumit says, “I want to get married, but not like ‘Okay, tomorrow, let’s just get married tomorrow.’”

What will Sumit’s next excuse be to avoid marrying Jenny?

Jenny asks Sumit to give her an approximate until Sumit feels ready to get married. He says, “I don’t know.” He tells the cameras that he didn’t expect his family to accept Jenny, so he didn’t plan for anything after that. He admits that “a little nervousness is there.” Jenny tells him, “I don’t want to hear any excuses.”

So what excuse will Sumit use next to avoid marrying Jenny? In the preview for the upcoming episode, Sumit tells Jenny, “Divorce changed me as a person. Person I was before and now is a big difference.” He explains, “First marriage I was in, that was a biggest disaster. I don’t think I can survive another divorce.” He tells her, “I don’t want to be a part of any marriage. I’m scared of that.”
